The hotel had a charming and cozy ambiance, with lovely decorations that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like myself.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is if the children working there could be a bit more attentive and helpful.

Loved the "spacious grounds" where I could enjoy the "complimentary WiFi" while freezing outside. The individually decorated chalet was a treat, especially the private terrace where I could brave the cold too. And who needs a stove top when you have a large rangehood?
I absolutely adored washing the kitchen wear before using it, it really added a personal touch to my cooking experience.

We loved the comfortable bed and well-equipped kitchenette for self-catering. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the cottage was clean with good heating. the garden was beautiful and the location was great for walking to the shops and lakefront. a cozy and enjoyable stay for couples.
Felt well taken care of, no complaints.

I loved the variety of holiday activities available, like fishing, hunting, and horse-riding. The chalet was individually decorated to such a high standard, it was like staying in a quirky museum. And let's not forget the complimentary wireless internet, because we all know I just can't live without it.
Oh, and who needs a cutting board or plates when you're trying to do some "self-catering"? Who needs to actually eat?

The bedroom in each chalet is so cozy and comfortable, with a queen size bed, soft linen, and an electric blanket. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! Having a private decking for each chalet was amazing. I loved sipping my morning coffee outside, taking in the breathtaking views. The private bathroom with a shower in each unit was a great convenience. It felt so refreshing to have my own space to freshen up.
Personally, I found the connection to a shopping center a bit distracting. But I understand that some guests might enjoy the convenience.

The bed was super comfy and we slept like champs. The kitchenette had everything we needed to whip up our own meals. Plus, the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great, with easy access to the shops and the lakefront.
No wifi in the cottage and we had to go all the way to reception to get a signal, which was a major bummer. On top of that, our cottage was right next to the road, so we had to put up with traffic noise despite the double glazing.

Loved our stay at the beautiful little cottage! It was the perfect size - super tidy, clean, comfortable, and warm. The bed was really comfy, and we loved relaxing and watching TV with hot chocolate from the coziness of our bed. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw from town, yet secluded and quiet. Our host provided the best, super helpful advice on things to do and the best deals. Can't wait to visit again!
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The value for the money at Templenoe was excellent, especially considering the comfortable and cozy room we had. The location was convenient, just a short walk or drive to the town center and beautiful lake. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Breakfast delights could be improved with a selection of milk and biscuits or a few toiletries to enhance the overall experience.

Cute cottage, cooking on the terrasse, walking to The Fat Duck, warm and welcoming. Cons: No radio, small TV didn't work, annoying red light, no fly screens, small room, no sitting area. Pros: Easy parking, nice garden. Great room for Milford Sound, modern and clean, big doors to seating outside, helpful owners, wonderful shower.

The bedroom in each chalet is so cozy and inviting. The queen size bed with quality linen and electric blanket is like sleeping on a cloud. As a tired traveler, it gave me the perfect night's sleep I needed.
I personally found the private entrance in the suite less appealing, but others might enjoy the privacy it provides.
